Hoe to import goods into Ireland

Understanding the Single Administrative Document (SAD)

The SAD document (Single Administrative Document) is internationally recognised by customs authorities for import and export. It is a form that declares compliance with the regulations laid down by the EU regarding movement of goods by traders across international borders. It must detail the goods being imported, information regarding movement of goods, the classification codes of the goods and details regarding compliance with the Customs Procedure Code.
